Join us for a five (5) hour in person "Twist" hair styling class on March 1, 2025 (10:00 AM to 3:00 PM) . This class is designed to help new you to create soft, silky, long-lasting twists. You will learn the tips for parting, as well as the most effective smoothing and twisting techniques for your best style. At the end of this workshop participants will be able to create flat twists, and 2 strand twists that can be worn or turned into a twist- out . You can learn using your own hair, a hair styling mannequin or a live model* that you bring to the class. Depending on your current skill, the length of the hair being twisted and the size of the twists you may be able to complete an entire style during the class.
Twists are wonderful for protective styling, giving your hair a much needed rest from tension, combing and brushing. Twists are also beautiful and versatile, but they can be expensive to have them installed. Whether you want to twist you own hair, that of a loved one or that of a client, this is the class for you. In this class you will receive hands on instruction with personalized feedback and you will learn so much about your hair.
The products used during the class will include Benu Moisturizing Butter and Thirst Quenching Leave in Conditioner, which can be purchased or brought to the class (for our customers who have the product on hand). Product will also be available for purchase during the class.
*Any live model you bring to class must arrive with clean dry or wet hair to get the best results.
